Prospect Opportunities
Key Areas to Success
An active O&G company needs a superior exploration team like Tarpon with a substantial Exploration/Development direction on large low risk projects in Proven Basins with Long Term Potential. Tarpon has focused on several opportunities:
West Central Alberta
The Company has an opportunity to purchase, through a private sale, producing assets located on the Peace River Arch in North West Alberta, Canada. The primary target reservoirs on the lands are the Montney and the Doig horizons. These properties contain three substantial oil & gas processing facilities, built in the last10 years, capable of +30,000 Boes/d production The Company’s experienced team is able to provide our investors superior performance in evaluating potential O&G prospects and the follow-up execution of exploration, development and production to ensure the optimal return on investment. Tarpon plans to optimize the said property via work-overs, re-completions, facility optimization and additional development drilling. As work on the property progresses, Tarpon plans to further acquire other properties from local operators in the immediate area to further build a contiguous base of operations.
Granite Wash/Mississippian Texas Oil Play
Tarpon has identified a large opportunity for Atoka (Granite Wash), Lower & Upper Strawn and Mississippian Oil/Liquids prospect, consisting of approximately 23,000 acres, in the Texas Panhandle.
San Juan
The San Juan has a large potential for Exploratory Prospects. The Mancos Shale with “Large Undeveloped” lands, offer new potential Fracable Oil Shale plays. Assuming a 12% recovery factor, potential recoverable reserves of ~4.5 million barrels per section should be achievable.
Latin & South America
Tarpon is investigating a number of opportunities in Lati and South America. Current negotiations include Production and Exploration Land Holdings.
